Well done!

Today we delivered our latest collection of food to the Refresh Food Bank in Dudley. Each week the children bring in donations of food and helpful items from home and then take it in turns to deliver it to the food bank and learn about the important work they do to help others.

The message this week!

This week is National Anti-Bullying Week and we’re all taking part! The children will be creating anti-bullying towers, bunting and promises during the week!

Well done Year 1

Year 1 led a truly beautiful whole school assembly today all about Remembeance Day. The children shared the reason why we wear poppies and why we should always be peacemakers to avoid future conflict. We’re so proud of the children!

We remember

On the 11th day of the 11th month the children all took part in a two minute silence to remember those who died for our freedom.  The children were so respectful and reverent during this time.

On Tuesday 9th November the children from Year 5 led our whole school Mass.

The children read, acted and played musical instruments perfectly to make Mass a beautiful celebration.

Well done Year 4!

Year 4 celebrated their class Saint’s Feast Day today – St Martin de Porres. The children learnt more about their Saint and wore their own clothes to school in celebration!

Work from Year 4!

This week we have celebrated Black History. The children from all classes have learnt about why Black History Month is celebrated alongside learning about Rosa Parkes, Martin Luther King and Lewis Hamilton. We understand that everyone has the right to be treated equally – just as Jesus taught us.
