Reading Competition!
Friday, 6 March 2020On Friday 6th March during our merit assembly we congratulated the winners of our latest Reading Competition – Reading in Unusual Places.
We had SO many entries and Dr Matusiak-Varley had a wonderful time looking through all of the entries!
Dr Matusiak-Varley found it very difficult to choose the winners as the photos were all so fantastic, but she managed to award first, second and third places.
We have displayed all of the entries in school so they can be enjoyed by everyone!

Ready to Read Competition
Thursday, 13 February 2020On Thursday 13th February we launched our Ready to Read Competition in school!
The competition is easy to enter and there are three prizes on offer: a £10 gift voucher, £5 gift voucher and some chocolate!
All children have to do to enter is to ask their parents or carers to take a photograph of them reading in an unusual place – the more unusual the better – and the top three most unusual places win a prize!
The closing date to enter is Friday 28th February and we can’t wait to see some fantastic photos!
EYFS Story Morning
Wednesday, 12 February 2020On Wednesday 12th February the children form Nursery and Reception invited their parents to join them in school to read some stories together.
Lots of parents were able to attend and share lots of books and stories with their children. The children – and parents – also learned some actions to the story the children are focusing on in the classroom!
Everyone had a lovely start to the morning!
