Thank you to Year 6 who shared a brilliant Black History themed assembly this morning. The children told us about what had happened to Rosa Parks, reflected on our school value of Equality and how in scripture from the Bible Jesus teaches us to love one another as equals. Thank you Year 6!

The children from all classes have learnt about why Black History Month is celebrated alongside learning about Rosa Parkes, Martin Luther King and Lewis Hamilton. We understand that everyone has the right to be treated equally – just as Jesus taught us.
