The Mission Team at work!

On Thursday 18th October the children from the Mission Team met together to look through the Mission Award applications.

We have received a record number of applications from children from Years 1 -6 who feel they deserve to be awarded the Mission Award for their class as they can show that they: know our school values, have taken part in prayer services, have shown how they are kind to others both in school and in the wider community and can name some traditional prayers etc

The Mission Team took their job of looking through the applications very seriously and in some cases went to speak to the applicants to get further information!

Well done Mission Team!

Mass was lead by Year 6 who welcomed Father Louis both in the introduction and through the bidding prayers.

Year 6 did a wonderful job of making Father Louis first Mass very special and we look forward to working with Father Louis to make our school the very best it can be.

One child commented, “Father Louis showed how he followed his vocation even when it was difficult, I am going to try and be like him and follow my vocation too.”
