The Jesse Tree completed

Our completed Jesse Tree

During our final gathering of 2018, on Wednesday 19th December we added the final symbol to the Jesse Tree – a picture of the Nativity Scene.

It doesn’t seem long ago that the tree was all bare, but now it is full of symbols representing all of Jesus’ ancestors that we have learned about during Advent.

We really do love and enjoy the Jesse Tree tradition at St Joseph’s.

Baby Jesus in the Nativity Scene

On Wednesday 19th December we gathered together for the last time in 2018 to listen to readings, sing Christmas songs and hymns.

As we are not in school on Christmas Day we also took the opportunity to place baby Jesus in our Nativity scene.

The gathering reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas and was a wonderful ending to another successful year at St Joseph’s.

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Holy Christmas!
