All the best to our wonderful Year 6 children! We are so very proud of you and all of your achievements – you have been real role models this year! Year 6 received a USB with a recoding of their Graduation yesterday to enjoy with their families which celebrates each child individually. All the best Year 6!

Leaver’s Mass

All the best Year 6!

On Tuesday 20th July, the children in Year 6 led their final Mass in school celebrated by Father Louis. The children celebrated their time at St Joseph’s along with receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation last week.

Mission Awards

Year 6 Graduation

Today, Monday 29th July. we celebrated our Year 6 class and all of their achievements in a special Garduation Ceremony! It was lovely to hear how they demonstrate our values and the teachings of Christ is all they do. We are very proud of you Year 6!

Year 6 Confirmation

Please pray for our Year 6 children who are due to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in church with Bishop Stephen Wright tonight on Wednesday 14th July.

First Reconciliation

On Tuesday 13th July the children from Year 3 received the Sacrament of First Reconciliation in a beautiful service led by Fr Louis. The children were so reverent and prayerful.

Mr C has been working on a song with Year 6 for the past term which has now been finished. It involves all year groups and he recorded them all in school during the music lessons.

The idea started from a conversation with year 6 asking them what they wanted the song to be about. The majority wanted to express their feelings of covid/lockdown etc… 3 girls wrote the lyrics and sang the song. It’s quite amazing despite the grim content!…

Celebratory Mass

Today, Tuesday 6th July July, the children who received the Sacrament of FHC on Saturday had the chance to celebrate with the whole of Y4. The children dressed in their special outfits for Mass, received a gift & a certificate from the school and had photos taken before having a special tea party!
