In preparation to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion this Saturday, today, Tuesday 29th June, Year 4 received the Sacrament of Reconciliation from Father Louis. The children took the Sacrament very seriously and thought carefully about what they wanted to ask forgiveness for.

Friday, 25 June 2021On Friday 25th June the children from Year 4 went to work in the Bible Garden!
The children did some weeding and then worked together to plant some lovely wild flowers which we hope will grow and bloom very soon!
The children enjoyed their time in the peaceful bible garden and appreciated the wonderful gifts that God has given to us.
Year 6 Reconciliation
Tuesday, 22 June 2021Today, Tuesday 22nd June, the children from Year 6 took part in a special reconciliation service with Father Louis.
The children listened to prayers and the Gospel to prepare themselves to receive reconciliation before they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
There was a beautiful display to remind the children of why reconciliation is an important part of preparing themselves to receive Confirmation.
Year 5 lead Mass
Tuesday, 22 June 2021Today, Tuesday 22nd June, the children from Year 5 led a beautiful Mass celebrated by Father Louis.
The Mass celebrated the lives of St Thomas Moore and St John Fisher who were true to their faith and give us an example to follow.
The children were so reverent and hope to be true to their faith in all they do.
Transition
Tuesday, 15 June 2021On Tuesday 15th June Year 6 were visited by Mrs Bansal from Bishop Milner Catholic College.
Mrs Bansal came to talk to the children about moving to Bishop Milner in September and answer any questions and worries the children had.
Mrs Bansal also met with parents to answer their questions to help the move to Bishop Milner as smooth as possible.

Road Safety
Tuesday, 15 June 2021On Monday 14th June the children from Year 6 took part in a Road Safety talk provided by Dudley.
Ladies came into school to talk to the children about how to stay safe when they are travelling – this is especially important as they get ready to start Secondary School in September.
The workshop was very useful and the children food it very helpful.
Year 3 lead Mass
Tuesday, 15 June 2021On Tuesday 15th June the children from Year 3 led a class Mass which was celebrated by Father Louis.
The children reflected on the message from the Gospel about loving our enemies. This was a perfect Gospel to think about during our Anti-Bullying / Anti-Racism and Fundamental British Values Week and reminded us of how Jesus forgave his enemies during his time on earth as an example to us all.
