Congratulations and thank you to Year 2 who led our assembly this morning. The children shared the story of Noah and how he trusted and listened to God. The children reminded us of what a good example Noah is to us in our lives today! Well done!

First Mass of the year!

Wednesday, 14 September 2022

Well done to our Year 6 children who led the first whole school Mass of the new academic year. The children did a wonderful job of sharing readings, leading the prayers and acting. We remembered the children who left us in July – as we promised we would – and remembered Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family too.

Thank you Ma’am

Today we held a special gathering to celebrate the life and service of the Queen. We shared videos and photos of her life and prayed for her family who will be missing her. To respect this period of mourning we have changed our listening music to remind us of how the Queen was chosen by God to serve the people and that we will miss her.

Welcome back!

It was lovely to be back together as a school family yesterday. We kept the promise we made to the Year 6 children who left in July and prayed for them. We hope they’ve had a wonderful start in their new schools!

Thank you!

Wishing our Year 6 children, along with families who are leaving St Joseph’s after many years, all the very best for the future. We are so proud and grateful to have been able to help guide and support you through your primary school years. Thank you too for all of the generous gifts and cards that so many of the staff received, these are never expected or taken for granted but I promise are very much appreciated. Take care and have a lovely, relaxing and safe summer break 😎
