Stations of the Cross Assemblies

Tuesday, 3 March 2020

The first two footprints

On Tuesday 3rd March we began our Stations of the Cross assemblies in Lent.  These extra and special assemblies are led by the teachers and take the children through all of the Stations of the Cross before Jesus died and was laid in a tomb.

This is a long standing tradition of our school and something the children tell us they enjoy each year.

After looking at each station and thinking about how Jesus felt and the message for us today, we place two purple footprints on the wall leading towards the cross to show that we are walking with Jesus.
