Our assembly!
On the last two days of term, every class in the school spent some time in the hall for a special Stations of the Cross assembly. The children re-visited all the Stations of the Cross and spent time listening to beautiful music and reflecting on Jesus’ sacrifice for us.

Our CAFOD envelopes
On Friday 26th March we took part in CAFOD Family Fast Day. The official day was during lock-down, so we decided to make today our CAFOD fast day! Today the children brought in their pennies to donate to CAFOD – Giving Alms and fasted their playtime snack to understand what it feels like to be a little bit hungry for a short time. Well done everyone!

Signs of Lent
The children loved seeing all the signs of Lent when they returned to the school hall on Monday 8th March- especially the purple footprints to show our walk with Jesus during Lent. As we learn about each Station of the Cross a pair of footprints is added to the wall to show our journey. Even during school closure the children learned all about the first 6 stations during their live lessons.
