House Point Winners

The House Captain of Truth collecting the Cup!

On Friday 21st July during our merit assembly we presented the House Winners Cup!

It was a closely run contest this term but in the end it was Truth who collected the most House points and won the House Cup for the Summer Term.

The Cup was presented to the House Captain of Truth and will display the colour of Truth until Christmas!

Well done everyone in Truth!

On Friday 21st July we congratulated the children who have 100% attendance for the whole school Year!

The children each received a £5 gift voucher in congratulations!

We have so many children with good attendance – we are very proud!

Spelling Winners

Our spelling winners

During our celebration assembly on Friday 21st July we congratulated our Spelling Winners.

Children who get full marks in their weekly spelling test get to put a raffle ticket in the spelling jar, then once a term a winner is drawn and they receive a £5 gift voucher!

Well done to this half terms winners!

2 terms 100%

On Friday 21st July in our celebration assembly we congratulated the children who have 2 terms 100% attendance.

All of the children received a medal to say congratulations!

Mission Team at work!

The Mission Team working together!

On Friday 21st July the Mission Team held a special meeting – even though it was the last day of the school year!

The children worked in their two groups – Collective Worship Evaluators and Catholic Life Evaluators to evaluate the schools work during the last term!

The children recognised that there was a lot of good work at St Joseph’s and they came up with some good ideas to make it even better too!

Year 6 dressed in their robes and hats ready for Graduation!

On Friday 20th July the whole school came together to celebrate Year 6’s Graduation.

During the ceremony we heard so many lovely things about each child – how kind, well-behaved, respectful etc they all are.

We are very proud of our Year 6 class and which they all the best at their new schools!

Our house captains with their Sports Day trophies!

On Tuesday 18th July we held our Sports Day Winners assembly.

Lots of parents were able to join us to find out who the winners are for 2017.

It was a close contest but the 2017 Sports Day Winners are…..Respect!

Well done to everyone for making all the sports days in 2017 so much fun!

On Tuesday 18th July during the Year 6 leavers and Confirmation Mass the children received their Confirmation certificates signed by Bishop McGough.

The children also received a special gift from the school in celebration of the special event in their lives.

The lovely altar display

On Tuesday 18th July Year 6 led our final Mass of the school year as well as celebrating their Confirmation.

It was a lovely Mass where the children from Year 6 prepared a lovely display, thoughtful readings and bidding prayers.

We reminded the children from Year 6 that they will always be part of the St Joseph’s family and we will pray for them in September.
