Remembrance Liturgy
Today, as we come to the end of November, we held a special remembrance Liturgy. The names of people we wanted to remember were added to class hearts and shared with our school family as we prayed, sang and shared gospel readings together.
Rosary Project
We have been blown away by the Rosary projects that have been created by our children – so much so that we held an exhibition to shown them off! Well done children – AMAZING!!!
Prayer Bags
Year 5 have taken home their Rosary themed prayer bags today. We can’t wait to hear how they have shared them with their family!
Prayer and Liturgy
Thank you to Year 4 who led our Prayer and Liturgy on Friday. The children were remembering key figures from the Old Testament – including Joseph and his Technicolor dream coat – and what we can learn from them today.
Our Lady of the Rosary
During Prayer and Liturgy we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We thought about how special Mary is all around the world and prayed a decade of the rosary together.
St Francis of Assisi
Today, during Merit, Prayer and Liturgy, as well as praying the Rosary together, we celebrated the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi and the end of the church season of Creation. We learned about the life of St Francis and why he is such a role model to us...
Laudato Si
During Merit, Prayer and Liturgy today we reminded ourselves of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si. We talked about the importance of caring for creation and preserving the beautiful world God created for us to take care of.
