FHC Mass
Congratulations to the 21 children who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion this morning. It was lovely to be joined by so many staff and family members in a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Samy.

Year 6 Treat

Parish Prayer Partners
It's wonderful that the members of the Parish and the children who are about to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion have become prayer partners. Praying for each other is such a beautiful thing to do.
May Displays
Our displays for May in honour of Our Lady have reflected our CMAT and Diocesan Mission - 'Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice'.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Please keep our Year 3 children in your prayers. The children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a lovely service with Fr Sam this morning, and it was lovely to be joined by parents too.
Praying the Rosary
Today we prayed a decade of the Rosary as a whole school family during our Prayer and Merit Gathering. The children prayed beautifully together after watching a video all about Mary and why she is so special.

Mission Team
The Mission Team have been very busy making prayer bags for the children in Reception! Reception will be given their prayer bags, a gift to keep, to help them pray at home with their family.
Music Mark
Well done to Mrs Stretton for successfully gaining the Music Mark for our school. We are committed to strengthening musical education and work with Dudley Performing Arts to give our children the best musical experiences.
First Holy Communion Retreat
Thank you to One Life Music Dan who led a special First Holy Communion retreat day for Year 3. The children found the day to be very uplifting and were pleased that so many parents could join them for the prayer service at the end the day.
Year 6 Mass
Thank you to Year 6 who led our Mass this morning celebrated by Fr Samy. The children sang, read and acted perfectly acting as excellent role models for the rest of the school.
Year 4 visit the Gurdwara
