Year 4 Mass
Thank you to Fr Sammy and Year 4 for celebrating and leading Mass this morning. Beautiful prayers and singing to make our worship so very special.
River of Remembrance
Today we continued our journey through November and our commitment to remember those who have died by creating a River of Remembrance.
Anti-bullying and British Values
Today, at the start of Anti-Bullying Week and learning about British Values, Year 5 joined the BBC live lesson for anti-bullying week focusing on power for good and the feelings that someone might feel from different types of bullying.
Stroke Awareness
Thank you to Dudley Stroke Association who visited our Year 4 children to deliver a session about stroke awareness. The children found it very interesting and are now aware of the BE FAST message.
Poetry Recital
All of the children were amazing today at our poetry recital! Performances from Joseph’s Jigsaw, Nursery, Reception and Years 1-6! We had poems about hats, iguanas, bread and much more! Thank you to all the parents that joined us too!
Year 3’s Trip!
Year 3 had a wonderful time visiting Dudley Museum today! The children had great fun learning about fossils and what life was like in the past.
Year 5 Mass
Thank you to Fr Sammy for celebrating his first Mass at St Joseph’s today! Thank you also to Year 5 for leading us in prayer and worship!
In November, we remember
In November, we remember. Beautiful memory boxes created by the children and adults at home and displayed in our hall. The boxes are full of photos, memories and items in memory of loved ones who are now in heaven.
Year 4 Saint’s Day!
Year 4 came to school in their own clothes today to celebrate their class Saint - St Martin de Porres - who celebrates his feast day today!
St Joseph’s Way
Today, following our settling sessions and Gospel Assembly, we revisited St Joseph’s Way. This is a shared commitment to being respectful, responsible and ready to learn to enable everyone to enjoy school life and learn together.
Memory Boxes
As we prepare to enter the month of November children are invited to create memory boxes over half-term. We look forward to our gatherings in November remember those who are now with Jesus.
Year 6 Prayer Service
Year 6 prepared their own prayer service today and held it in St Francis' Forest. The children wanted to pray for people who find it hard to show tolerance and understanding to others. The children felt that people who don't understand Jesus' message of being...
Keeping Safe!
As the darker nights approach, we are very grateful to PC Cat Purser who came to talk to our Year 6 children. PC Cat gave the children lots of advice about how to keep themselves safe, the law around fireworks and anti-social behaviour too.
Year 6 Mass
Thank you to Year 6 who led our whole school Mass celebrated by Fr Emmanuel today. Year 6 continue to be excellent role models, reading with eloquence, acting with reverence and leading the singing.
Parents Evening

Rosary Project
Our Rosary Project has been a huge success! We have so many creative children! All of the projects are on display for all to see at our Parents Evening today!
Year 6 Assembly
Thank you to Year 6 who shared their learning about Black History today. The children used quotes from the Bible to remind us that God created us all equal and showed us that we should always show love to one another.
Prayers of Hope
Today we held a special Prayer Service of Hope in this special Jubilee Year. The children prayed the Jubilee prayer and sang together as well as offering up their our own prayers of hope.
Harvest
Thank you to everyone who was able to donate a tine of food today for our Harvest Mass. The tins of food will be given to the Good Shepherd Appeal in Wolverhampton to help our local brothers and sisters in need.
