Stations of the Cross
To end our Holy Week in school Year 6 acted out the Stations of the Cross. It was beautiful. We're so thankful for Jesus' sacrifice for us and take such joy in knowing how much He loves us all.
Palms
Today the children will be taking home a palm cross - a gift from the school. We hope they remember all of their learning about Holy Week and how much Jesus loves them.
Celebration Assembly
It was a very busy celebration assembly this morning - mission awards, attendance awards, ACE attendance and the house cup. It was lovely to be joined by so many parents this morning too.

Our new grotto!
Our new grotto is now at the front of the school. The statue of Mary was donated to our school and we are so very grateful. An opportunity for the whole school community to ask Mary our mother, to pray for them.
Year 4’s Last Supper Assembly
Well done and thank you to Year 4 for sharing their Last Supper Assembly today. The children shared how Jesus washed the feet of the disciples before the Passover Meal. The children shared how Jesus knew that Judas would betray Him and Peter deny Him.

Year 3 Mass
Thank you to Year 3 who led our last whole school Mass during Lent celebrated by Fr Emmanuel. The children did a perfect job of acting, reading, bringing the offertory and making the music just perfect.
Lenten Service
It was lovely to be together as a school family in the Church this evening to act out the events of Holy Week. Thank you to the parents, children and staff for making it the perfect start to Holy Week at St Joseph’s.
BIG Lent Walk
Well done to everyone who took part in CAFOD’s BIG Lent walk today! The children did so very well and did lots of walking! We can’t wait to see how much sponsorship money we’ve raised!
Mission Team
