Today, at the start of Anti-Bullying Week and learning about British Values, Year 5 joined the BBC live lesson for anti-bullying week focusing on power for good and the feelings that someone might feel from different types of bullying.

Thank you to Dudley Stroke Association who visited our Year 4 children to deliver a session about stroke awareness. The children found it very interesting and are now aware of the BE FAST message.

All of the children were amazing today at our poetry recital! Performances from Joseph’s Jigsaw, Nursery, Reception and Years 1-6! We had poems about hats, iguanas, bread and much more! Thank you to all the parents that joined us too!

As the darker nights approach, we are very grateful to PC Cat Purser who came to talk to our Year 6 children. PC Cat gave the children lots of advice about how to keep themselves safe, the law around fireworks and anti-social behaviour too.

Today we held a special Prayer Service of Hope in this special Jubilee Year. The children prayed the Jubilee prayer and sang together as well as offering up their our own prayers of hope.
