Mini Vinnies at work!
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Mini Vinnies this week. The children have sold ice pops to raise money for ACN - Aid to the Church in Need and have raised £150!

EYFS Creativity
Our children in EYFS used their creativity to create a beautiful stained glass window outside with chalk today! We think it looks stunning!
Minnie Vinnies
Well done to our Mini Vinnies who have completed the Maisy Milk Rosary Project through the ACN - Aid to the Church in Need. The children have prayed the Rosary for peace throughout the week with a different focus each day.
Year 1 Assembly
Well done and thank you to our Year 1 children who shared their learning about Jesus feeding the 5000 today. The children reminded us of the importance of working in solidarity and how everyone is special to God.
Crowning Our Lady

ACN – Praying for Peace
Our Mini Vinnies are praying the Rosary every day this week along with ACN - Aid to the Church in Need as part of the Maisy Milk Rosary for Peace Project. Day one (yesterday) focused on the Holy Land and today focused on Nigeria.
Healthy Me
Some of our children had a wonderful time at the Healthy Me Festival at David Lloyd Health and Fitness Centre today. The children got to take part in lots of new activities and learn how to keep themselves active and healthy!
FHC Celebration
It was lovely to celebrate with our First Holy Communion children as a whole school today! The whole of Year 3 enjoyed leading our whole school worship and taking part in the tea party afterwards!
FHC Celebration Mass
We’re all ready to celebrate and congratulate our First Holy Communion children in a special Mass in school tomorrow. It’s wonderful to celebrate this important event as a whole school family.

Congratulations to the 21 children who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion this morning. It was lovely to be joined by so many staff and family members in a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Samy.

Year 6 Treat
Year 6 enjoyed their private screening at the cinema today! It was a special treat after all of their hard work completing their SATs Test this week!
Jesus’ Ascension
Year 2 did an amazing job of sharing the celebration of Jesus' Ascension today! The children took us all the way back to Easter Sunday, reminding us of the empty tomb, Jesus' being recognised in the breaking of the bread, and Doubting Thomas before also acting out...
Well done Miss Bate!
We are very proud of Miss Bate who has been accepted on the Chartered Teacher Pathway! This is a very prestigious pathway! Chartered Status is a professional learning and accreditation pathway supporting career-long development. Well done Miss Bate!
Parish Prayer Partners
It's wonderful that the members of the Parish and the children who are about to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion have become prayer partners. Praying for each other is such a beautiful thing to do.
May Displays
Our displays for May in honour of Our Lady have reflected our CMAT and Diocesan Mission - 'Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice'.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Please keep our Year 3 children in your prayers. The children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation in a lovely service with Fr Sam this morning, and it was lovely to be joined by parents too.
Praying the Rosary
Today we prayed a decade of the Rosary as a whole school family during our Prayer and Merit Gathering. The children prayed beautifully together after watching a video all about Mary and why she is so special.
Year 5 Mass
Well done to Year 5 who led our Mass this week celebrated by Fr Samy.
