Today the Year 1 children walked to Church. They had time to look around the church and came up with lots of different questions about what they had seen.
We looked at the Paschal Candle and how we light this during the season of Easter or on special occasions.
They then spent some time reflecting on how they can be more like Jesus and follow in his footsteps.
Year 1 also took some time to say thank you to God, to pray for others and themselves before lighting a candle.
