Odd Socks Day!
Lots of children wore odd socks to school today to highlight that we’re all special and unique! This is one of the activities we’re taking part in during Anti-bullying week as we learn about British Values too!
Remembrance Day
So very proud of the children for taking part in the 1 minute silence today. We learned all about Remembrance Day and why people wear poppies before remembering those who made, and continue to make, the ultimate sacrifice.
Rosary Project
We have been blown away by the Rosary projects that have been created by our children – so much so that we held an exhibition to shown them off! Well done children – AMAZING!!!
In November, We Remember
In November we remember. To remember those who have died and gone to be with Jesus we have been writing their names on brightly coloured strips and decorating the front of our school.
Poetry Recital
A BIG well done to the children from Joseph’s Jigsaw, Nursery, Reception and Years 1 -6 this afternoon for their wonderful poetry recitals! It was lovely to see so many happy, confident children proudly sharing their poems!
Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all the parents who attended parents’ evening this evening. It was lovely to be joined by our school nurse too!
Black History
A focus on Black History this week in school. Learning about important figures and how they stood up for equality – something that Jesus teaches us is so very important.
Harvest Mass
Well done to our Year 2 children who led our Harvest Mass this week – they did so beautifully. A BIG thank you to everyone who was able to donate a tin of food. All donations will be sent to the Good Shepherd Appeal in Wolverhampton.
