Year 6 Assembly
Thank you to Year 6 who shared their learning about Black History today. The children used quotes from the Bible to remind us that God created us all equal and showed us that we should always show love to one another.
Prayers of Hope
Today we held a special Prayer Service of Hope in this special Jubilee Year. The children prayed the Jubilee prayer and sang together as well as offering up their our own prayers of hope.
Harvest
Thank you to everyone who was able to donate a tine of food today for our Harvest Mass. The tins of food will be given to the Good Shepherd Appeal in Wolverhampton to help our local brothers and sisters in need.
Parish Mass
Thank you to everyone who joined us in church for Mass this evening. The children read beautifully and made the music extra special by playing instruments and singing beautifully. Thank you to Fr Emmanuel for celebrating Mass too!
School Parish Mass
Our School Parish Mass is tomorrow evening at 6pm. Please join us if you can – everyone is very welcome!
Jubilee Boat
It’s back! The Jubilee Boat has returned to St Joseph’s! We can’t wait to introduce it to our youngest children! Next week we’ll be reconnecting with our theme of the hopes, dreams and aspirations of young people!
Mental Health Day
Today we all wore yellow clothes to school to support mental health day. The children have been thinking about how they can look after their own mental health too!
Special Mass
It was lovely to be part of the special Mass with 64 other schools to launch the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust today. Two of our children represented St Joseph’s perfectly and accepted the special lantern as a sign of hope and solidarity for...
