Celebrating Epiphany
We’ve been busy celebrating the joy of the Epiphany and adding the wisemen to the Nativity scene, sharing some new additions that make our school look lovely and reminding each other about St Joseph’s Way!
Advent Journey
We ended our Advent journey together this afternoon, by sharing special readings, singing beautiful songs, lighting the Advent wreath, completing the Jesse Tree and placing Jesus in the manger. Merry Christmas everyone!
King Herod and the Wisemen
Year 6 did an AMAZING job of recapping the Christmas Story and adding the actions of King Herod and the Wisemen this afternoon. Such confident children who read and acted with such reverence and respect. We’re so very proud of them all!
The birth of Christ, shepherd and angels
This morning Year 5 did the special job of sharing the story of the birth of Jesus and the journey of the shepherds and angels. It was a unique and amazing performance with beautiful singing, acting and reading.
The Journey to Bethlehem
This afternoon Year 4 took to the stage for part two of our Christmas Story. The children read, acted and reflected on the journey to Bethlehem that Mary and Joseph had to take and how the King of Kings was born in a lowly stable surrounded by animals.
The Annunciation, Visitation and Joseph’s Dream
Year 3 shared the story of the Annunciation, Joseph’s Dream and the visit to Elizabeth this morning. A beautiful performance with stunning music and images to share the moment Mary (and Joseph) said YES to God’s plan.
KS1 Nativity
Today was the turn of KS1 to share their nativity play. They did a wonderful job of retelling the birth of Jesus. Wonderful singing and acting by everyone. Well done!

It was lovely to be in church together this evening to share the Nativity. Lovely singing, readings and acting and a beautiful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.
