Lent Litter Pick
Thank you to the staff who gave their time to pick up litter in the local area today. This is something staff have committed to do during Lent. We hope they enjoyed a well deserved hot drink afterwards too!
Mini Vinnies Bake Sale
Our Mini Vinnies organised and held a Bake Sale after school today to raise money for Father Hudson’s Caritas. Thank you so much to everyone who made and donated cakes and thank you also to those who brought them!
St Patrick’s Day Mass
Thank you to Year 4 who led our special St Patrick’s Day Mass today celebrated by Fr Emmanuel. Year 3 were also celebrating St Patrick’s day as it’s their class saint!
New Additions
We’re really pleased with the new additions to the front of our school – The life of Christ in 6 beautiful images.
Pupil Prepared Worship
Well done to our Year 6 children who prepared and led their own worship today for the younger children. We are so proud of their confidence, knowledge and reverence.
Year 5 Mass
Thank you to Year 5 who led our Mass this morning celebrated by Fr Emmanuel. We were reminded about the importance of forgiveness and how we can always as God to help us forgive others – even when it’s difficult.
Giving Alms
Some of our staff were out and about again this morning – giving up their time to serve a mission greater than themselves – by litter picking in the local area. Following their service they had a little time to enjoy a nice warm drink too!
We have a winner!
All the children had a guess / counted the number of mini Jesus’ placed around school this Lent and we have a winner! The total number was 84 and our Year 4 winner has won a beautiful kite 🪁 to fly in celebration!
