Advent begins
As we enter the season of Advent we’ll spend the next two weeks preparing ourselves, a time to look at our lives and think about how we can be the best version of ourselves.
We will remember
We will remember them. Thank you to all of the children for observing the 2 minute silence this morning.
River of Remembrance
Today we continued our journey through November and our commitment to remember those who have died by creating a River of Remembrance.
Anti-bullying and British Values
Today, at the start of Anti-Bullying Week and learning about British Values, Year 5 joined the BBC live lesson for anti-bullying week focusing on power for good and the feelings that someone might feel from different types of bullying.
Stroke Awareness
Thank you to Dudley Stroke Association who visited our Year 4 children to deliver a session about stroke awareness. The children found it very interesting and are now aware of the BE FAST message.
St Joseph’s Way
Today, following our settling sessions and Gospel Assembly, we revisited St Joseph’s Way. This is a shared commitment to being respectful, responsible and ready to learn to enable everyone to enjoy school life and learn together.
Democracy Day!
What an amazing day we’ve had! Democracy Day was brilliant. The children all voted and the results have been announced! Congratulations to BLUE! Blue is the colour we’ll all wear to school on Monday 22nd September!
CAFOD National Assembly
Today we shared the CAFOD National Assembly during merit, prayer and liturgy. It gave us a chance to reflect on many things we take for granted and, that by working in solidarity, we can all play our part in building a better world.
