Event - Year 2 Visit Stourbridge Fire Station

24 February 2012

Year 2 visited Stourbridge Fire Station on Friday 24th February 2012. We all had chance to see how the fire appliance works.

The children also went into Calamity Cottage which is a house full of hazards. The children visited the house and identified the fire and safety hazards, and were shocked to see what the house would look (and smell) like after a fire.

The children all had a lovely day and learned a lot about the dangers of fire and how the fire appliances work.

We all listened very carefully.

We had great fun with the hose pipes. They're very heavy though!
