Event - Diamond Jubilee Concert

1 June 2012

On Friday 1st June we celebrated the Queen's Jubilee by holding a very special Jubilee Concert.

We started by singing the National Anthem together and then every class performed a dance from one of the decades the Queen has reigned over us.

We all stood to sing our National Anthem together.

Nursery and Reception class took us to the 1950's and performed Hound Dog by Elvis Presley.

Next on to the 1960's where Year 1 performed Yellow Submarine by the Beatles.

Year 2 put on their flares, took us back to the 1970's and danced to the Jackson Five's Blame it on the Boogie!

From the 1980's Year 3 performed Wake Me Up by Wham!

Moving on to the 1990's where Year 4 danced to You Can't Touch This by MC hammer.

On to the year 2000's where Year 5 performed Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night by the Black-Eyed Peas.

Finally Year 6 brought us up to date by dancing to Party Rock by LMFAO.

To end the concert we all sang the special Queen's Jubilee song Sing together and waved our flags!
