Event - Anti-Bullying and Anti-Racism Assembly

24 June 2016

On Friday 24th June we held a special assembly to celebrate all our work in school during Ant-bullying and anti-racism.

At St Joseph’s we hold two anti-bullying and anti-racism weeks during the school year as we think it is so important in helping to make our school a happy and safe place.

All of the children made a special promise on a blue handprint about how they would help stop bullying and racism.

Nursery shared the big blue hand they had made together.

Year 1 shared postcard they had made with important anti-bullying and anti-racism messages.

Year 2 shared their special posters displaying important messages and pictures.

Year 3 talked about their work with Equaliteach during the week and the workshop they had completed together.

Year 4 thought about different types of bullying including cyber-bullying and how to stay safe.

Year 6 linked anti-bullying and anti-racism messages to the UN Rights of the Child.
