Year 1 learning all about St Rose of Lima!
On Thursday 13th September the children from Year 1 wore their own clothes to school in celebration of their class saint’s day – St Rose of Lima.
St Rose of Lima’s feast day is celebrated on 23rd August, but as we were all on holiday the children celebrated the feast day today.
The children learned lots about their class saint and why she was so special, the children linked the life of St Rose of Lima to being compassionate and loving which are our virtues this half term.
