Year 4 and 2 children praying together

On Friday 25th May Year 2 invited their Prayer Partners from Year 4 to join them in a Pentecost themed prayer service.

Year 2 prepared the service independently, choosing songs, readings and writing prayers along with creating a lovely display.

Year 4 really appreciated all of the effort that Year 2 had put into preparing the gathering.

One Year 4 child commented, “I really enjoy spending time with my Prayer Partner as we can talk and prayer together quietly.”

Holy Spirit at work!

Our special award winners

During our merit assembly on Friday 25th May we congratulated three children who have really demonstrated how the Holy Spirit is working amongst us.

One child has been working very hard with his mother to raise a large amount of money for charity and the two other children helped look after a younger member of our school when they were being upset by children from another school at a local park.

We are so proud of the actions of these children who remind us that the Holy Spirit is truly at work and with us always.

Well done children!

One child commented, “I think I understand the mystery of it all a little better now!”
