Year 4’s lovey prayer display

On Tuesday 12th June it was the turn of the children form Year 4 to lead our whole school Mass in school.

The children did a wonderful job of writing their own bidding prayers, preparing the readings, bringing the offertory and creating a lovely prayer display.

At the end of Mass we also spent some time thinking about how lucky we are to have Father Emmanuel.  We recognise that since the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus this year, until the Feast day comes around next year, the Church has asked us to pray for priests.  We thought about how thankful we are to have such a wonderful priest in Father Emmanuel and how we hope other people answer the call to join the priesthood in the future.

One child commented, “I felt Jesus was calling me to be kind today like Jesus is.”
