Mission Awards

Our mission award winners

During our merit assembly on Friday 15th February we presented this half terms Mission Awards.

Children have had the opportunity to apply for a Mission Award by completing an application form which shows how they follow our school values and mission. Earlier this week the Mission Team met and looked over the applications and today the successful applicants received their medals!

We also have a number of children who have re-applied for the award and shown us even more ways they are supporting the mission of our school, so in recognition of all their hard work they were rewarded with a special certificate!

Well done everyone!

Year 6 adoring the Blessed Sacrament

Following Mass on Tuesday 5th February Father Louis placed the Blessed Sacrament into the Monstrance for us to adore during the day.

Today is a special day of prayer for our Parish, where we are called to pray for Vocations and the call to consecrated life.

Throughout the day the children from all classes (Nursery to Year 6) spent time in the hall where they had time to pray silently and together in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

It was a special day in school, one of peace, prayer and adoration.
