The Mini Vinnies on their Charity Winter Walk!

On Friday 23rd November the children from the Mini Vinnies team in school took part in a Winter Walk to raise money for the SVP charity.

The idea came from the children who wanted to raise money for the SVP and thought a sponsored walk around the local area would be a good idea!

Well done Mini Vinnies for your great ideas to raise money for the SVP and taking part in the sponsored walk even when the weather was REALLY cold!

Our display of all of the tins donated

On Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th September the families of our school donated lots and lots of tins of food which we will send to the Good Shepherd Appeal in Wolverhampton who work with and help the homeless.

We are so grateful for the generosity that our families have shown in thinking about and helping others in our community who are in need.

We created a lovely display of all the tins for our Harvest Mass in school and the Good Shepherd Appeal helpers will be collecting the tins this week and putting them to very good use.

Thank-you everyone!

The children form Year 2 chose to give their share of the charity money we raised during Lent to the Church.

Father was very touched that the children had thought of him and the Church and was very grateful to receive the cheque which will go into the Church’s Maintenance Fund.

Children enjoying the Pancake Flip!

On Tuesday 13th February we held our annual sponsored Pancake Flip!

All of the children from Nursery to Year 6 all took part in flipping their ‘pancakes’ whilst negotiating an obstacle course.  All of the children had a wonderful time and enjoyed having fun whilst raising money for charity!

Some Year 3 children commented “We enjoyed flipping the pancakes, jumping over the obstacles and raising money for charity all at the same time!”

Following the Pancake Flip the children were all treated to a lovely pancake to say thank-you for all of their hard work!
