The School Council in their meeting!

On Tuesday 9th October the children held the first School Council meeting of the new school year.

During the meeting the children talked about how important being a School Council member was and what their role is in helping our school to be the very best that it can be.

The children understand their part in always trying to improve our school and are going to gather suggestions from their fellow class members ready for our next meeting!

Well done children!

The School Council at work!

On Wednesday 20th June the School Council held a meeting to go through the actions from the last meeting and discuss the suggestions made by other children in the school from the class suggestion boxes.

The children worked hard sorting through suggestions and deciding on what actions we can take to help make our school even better!

The school council in action!

On Tuesday 13th February the School Council met to discuss the suggestions that the children from each class had put in the Suggestion Boxes.

The School Council members from Year 1 to Year 6 were very interested to hear the different suggestions the children have to make our school even better!  Some of the suggestions included: different assembly ideas, after school club ideas, improvements to the library and charity event ideas!

The next job for the school council is to get some of their ideas up and running – watch this space!
